私の英語ノート 2026/08/30
New vision shows family in Nepal escape impossible odds 新たな映像が、ネパールで一家が到底乗り越えられそうにない困難を切り抜けた様子を捉えている。注：New Vision はニュース番組・映像素材の名称かもしれない。この映像ですぐにわかるのは、この家はコンクリートの家だということだ。そして屋上には給水タンク二基、そして太陽光温水器が備え付けられていることだ。この地域は水道水の供給が頼りにならないことがうかがえるし、（高地のためか）水温が低いこともわかる。結構裕福な家なのだろう。太陽光温水器は昔、日本でもたくさんあった。これほどエコな機器も珍しいと思う。
