茂みを英語でなんと言うか？

beat around the bush, bushman, ブッシュ大統領の bush かもしれないし、shrub かも知れないが、ここでは広範囲な茂みを意味する brush の紹介です。brush には複数の意味があるので一つ一つ正確に覚えていくことが大切です。注；ブッシュ大統領を例に出したついでに、英国のマーガレット・サッチャー首相についても一言。わらぶき屋根を英語で thatched roof という。thatcher はわらぶき屋根職人のこと。
