中国でクリスマス行事禁止の動きと言う記事を読んだ。これは今に始まったことではないが、禁止できるものなのだろうか？クリスマスを「宗教的な色彩を強く帯びた西側の祝日」と表現するのはまったくその通りだと思う。マルクスが「宗教はアヘン」と表現したのも大正解。しかし、資本主義路線に舵を切った中国でクリスマスが禁止できるものだろうか？クリスマスは宗教的な色彩を帯びてはいるが、所詮はビジネスだからだ。中国のように国が号令を掛けてクリスマスを禁止したい気持ちはよくわかる。しかし国民がキリスト教をすこし勉強して、クリスマスの本質を知れば、クリスマスなどは自然消滅する、、、と思いたい。 0:53 banned? I don't think so. クリスマスが禁止された？そうはみえませんね。

以前、職場のコンピューターはよく間違うと書いたことがあった。コンピューターは多分正確に動くのだが、接続が切れると数が合わなくなることがよくある。そして入力ミスもかなりある。コンピューターが一から十までのすべての作業をするのなら、まず間違いは無いが、人間と言う要素が多分に入るコンピューターのデーターにはすこぶる怪しいものがある。さて、下のビデオではドイツ人の物理学者がハイパーループには技術的な問題があるが、実現には最低20年はかかるだろうと楽観的な展望を述べている。彼女は人間と言う一番厄介な技術的問題には一切触れていない。まさに机上の空論と言える。10:11 in summary, the hyperloop isn't just hype, it may one day become a real alternative to airplanes, but it's probably not going to happen in the next two decades.

Japanification 日本化する、と言う単語がある。日本を見習えと言う意味ではなく、「失われた20年」のように経済が停滞することを意味するようだ。低インフレ（もしくはデフレ）で、ゼロ金利、所得も伸びず、、、このような現象が Japanification らしい。
