書店で経済本をパラパラめくっていたら、「国の借金」と言う嘘、、、という言葉が目に入った。国の借金とは日本が外国から借りたお金のことらしい。そして財政赤字の積み重ねは「政府の債務」という理論だ。国の借金が一番わかりやすい言葉なのに、言葉の綾を重ねて日本は絶対に破産しないという楽観論にもって行きたいわけだ。国民は貸し手、政府が借り手だから、政府の負債は国民の資産だ、、、、と書いてある。じゃ、国民が政府に貸した金は絶対に安全なのか？手元にあるのは借用書と政府に対する信頼だけだろう。国債などを資産とだと思い込むのは勝手だが、国債と引き換えに国に渡したお金はすでに使われている。赤字国債を次々と発行する政府が出来ることは潔く破産するか、それともお金の購買力を下げる（お金の価値を下げる、つまりインフレにする）ことしかない。近所の床屋がこう言っていた。昔は床屋一人が働けば二世帯食わせていけた、今は一世帯くわすのも難しい、と。国の借金のツケを払うのはいつも国民だ。国民一人当たりいくらの借金がある、といういい方はまさにその通りだ。インチキ経済評論家たちの嘘に騙されてはいけない。 18:42 if you don't hold it you don't own it. 手元になければ、自分のものではない。ベネズエラのマドゥロ政権がイギリスに預けてある金塊の送還を要求したが、イギリス政府はそれを拒否した、、、、金は自分の手元になければ、自分のものとは言えない。
