起承転結を英語でなんと言うか？

文学では一応、introduction(=exposition), rising action, climax, falling action, conclusion(=resolution) と五つの過程から成り立っていますが、 四つに絞れば exposition, rising action, climax, denouement です。しかしこればあくまでも英文学などの専門分野での話です。 denouement はフランス語です。しかしこんなことを言っても英文学専攻の学生以外にはチンプンカンプンなので、一般的には beginning, middle and end で通用しています。2:54 but it ain't a story. yeah, it's a story. it got a beginning, a middle and an end. それじゃ、話になんないでしょ。話とはね、起承転結があるんだぜ。
