Détente デタント

昔、軍縮関係の言葉に SALT 戦略兵器制限交渉（Strategic Arms Limitation Talks）や START 戦略兵器削減条約（Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty）などがあったが、すぐに色あせてしまった。Détente （デタント、緊張緩和）も SALT や START と同じ時代にもてはやされた言葉だが、いまだに健在だ。フランス語のなせる業なのだろう。 2:26 We would be better off working together.
