以前、みぞおちという意味で pit of the stomach を紹介しましたが、文字通りはらわたの底の部分としても使われています。1:09 you get the sick feeling in the pit of your stomach. （自分たちの搭乗するはずだった飛行機が撃墜されたのを受けて）お腹の底の底で ムカムカする感じになったよ。pit は部位のことです。痛みのような意味で使われることがありますが誤用です。
