「ちょっとは礼儀をわきまえろよ」の意味ですが、可笑しいのは礼儀をわきまえない手合いに限ってshow me some respect「尊敬しろ」とか連発することです。だいたい、show meと言った時点で落第です。日本なら周りの人がshow him some respectとか言いそうなものですが、show meとは厚かましく、おこがましい響きがあります。昔読んだ本に英語を話すときには利己的になれと書いてありましたが、show meのレベルまで堕ちる必要はありません。謙虚であることを忘れてはいけません。1:03 Sir, I’m here to speak to these folks.
