これに相当するピッタリの英語の表現はありません。ですから相手にわかるような表現をするしかありません。簡単に言えば一つ一つの出会いを大切に(cherish each encounter)、、、茶道用語です。この哲学は欧米にはありませんですが、古代ギリシャにはありまりした。carpe diemがまさに、一期一会の精神の妙を言い当てています。（本当はこの真逆で、carpe diemの精神を一期一会が言い当てているというべきでしょう）この精神から派生した言葉は沢山ありますが、seize the moment.（今この瞬間を大切に生きる,sieze the dayでも一緒です。）がその代表です。freddy mercuryの歌にlove me like there's no tomorrow.というのがあり、この考えがよく反映されています。そのほかの言い方もありますが、live as if you'll die today.では面白味がないので、他人の英知を拝借します。
