言葉のにおいについて

言葉には良し悪しがあり、それが言葉のにおいになります。言葉の意味が全て理解できる前にその言葉がいい意味かわるい意味かを嗅ぎ分ける必要があります。英語の意味は音の中にあるとは言うものの始めて聞く単語に意味を持たせるのは文脈であったりその場の状況であったりします。この経験が大事です。よく耳にするmaraudを例に挙げます。0:17 a school of marauding piranhas can strip a victim to the bone in less than a minute.
