condemnについて

いろいろな意味の有る言葉ですが、悪いレッテルを貼るというのが基本概念です。政府が土地収用するときなどにも使われる言葉ですが、どうしても言葉本来の意味がお上の思惑によって曲げられたようなふしがあります。以前マルコス政権下でsalvage（救う）がまったく逆の意味の暗殺を意味したりオウム真理教で仏教用語のポアを殺人と定義したようなものです。0:46 Texas law allows a company to condemn land if their project is for the good of the public. テキサス州法は公共の利に資する計画であれば、会社は私有地を接収出来ると定めている。
